Datalink Technologies

As an official reseller for L3HARRIS’ BROADBAND COMMUNICATIONS SYSTEMS (BCS), the world leading supplier of high performance ISR datalinks and associated equipment, AEC SKYLINE offers the latest generation of secure networked high-data rate, wideband, real-time communications systems for air, maritime, land and unmanned systems. This includes the renowned ROVER family of remote video terminals, a key enabler during air-land integration scenarios.

Products

Rover family

Widely used by NATO armed forces for sensor-to-shooter networking, the Remote Operated Video Enhanced Receiver (ROVER) family of transceiver systems from L3HARRIS provide encrypted full motion video and other network data from manned or unmanned airborne platforms to ground users.
Current ROVER communications production equipment encompasses the handheld, software defined and DACAS enabling Tactical Network ROVER (TNR) 2 transceiver and the upgraded transportable ROVER 6S which features HD video, enhanced DDL performance and UHF and S-band expansion. ROVER 6 is also at the core of L3HARRIS’ MUMTi airborne datalink system.
Associated equipment includes the STINGER tracking antenna system for long range capability, STINGER-LITE, and the Enhanced CLS 2 omnidirectional antenna, all compatible with the ROVER 6S.

CMDL 2

A member of the L3HARRIS small form-factor product family, CMDL 2 (Compact Multi-band Data Link) is a next generation miniaturised, high-performance, wide-band data link. Optimised for use in size-constrained military platform or commercial applications, the full duplex CMDL 2 is UHF, L, S, C and Ku-band capable, thereby providing users with maximum flexibility and performance.
Including the widely deployed legacy CMDL, this datalink family has been deployed on over 1000 UAVs, small tactical aircraft and targeting pods.

Mini-T2

Bandit 2

Designed for size and weight constrained platforms, the L3HARRIS next generation BANDIT 2 digital transceiver maintains the low SWAP form factor of the discontinued legacy BANDIT transceiver while providing more up-to-date functionality in line with current ISR environments.
Providing wideband data link capability, this L/S/C-band transceiver delivers real-time, IP-based, full-motion digital video for situational awareness, targeting, battle damage assessment, surveillance, video broadcast, remote sensors, convoy operations among others. It is interoperable with other products using USG and NATO standard waveforms.

sspa

Designed to be paired with multiband modems and radios, either stand-alone for a transmit-only system or integrated with additional components to form a duplex system, L3HARRIS’ multiband 20 W GaN SSPA is a dual-output digitally controlled solid state power amplifier with four independent gallium nitride solid-state power amplifiers. It is capable of transmitting in L-Band, S-Band, Lower C-Band or Upper C-Band of the radio frequency (RF) spectrum.
Supporting L3HARRIS’ CMDL, CMDL 2, VORTEX and ROVER 6, the 20 W GaN SSPA is also frequently used in targeting pod applications that require multi-frequency operation in rugged, SWaP-constrained environments.
