MPU5
The most advanced, most scalable, and most efficient Mobile Ad Hoc Networking (MANET) radio in the world, PERSISTENT SYSTEMS’ 3×3 MIMO MPU5 unites all your critical data sources in real time. Data, video, voice and a fully integrated computer operating system that allows you to install existing Android apps such as ATAK, make the rugged MPU5 the world’s first Smart Radio. Tethering an Android EUD paired with a ruggedised Juggernaut.Case to the MPU5 gives you a field-ready SA device.
Designed to withstand extreme conditions in the harshest environments, the MPU5 also features integrated GPS, native video encoding/decoding and Advanced Radio over IP (RoIP) capability, thereby integrating the widely used AN/PRC-148E, AN/PRC-163 and AN/PRC-167 tactical radios into the versatile WAVE RELAY network.
Embedded Module
PERSISTENT SYSTEMS’ advanced Mobile Ad Hoc Networking (MANET) system is now available in a low SWaP form factor: the EMBEDDED MODULE. Integrate the EMBEDDED MODULE with its HD video encoder and onboard computer into your products to unite UAVs, UGVs, and sensors on a single network while using swarming algorithms. And eliminate redundant equipment from your platform.
GVR5
The GVR5 is a dual band WAVE RELAY MANET solution for tracked and wheeled ground vehicles as well as aircraft. Designed by PERSISTENT SYSTEMS to seamlessly integrate with your existing vehicle LAN, intercom system, and SATCOM / LTE networks, GVR5 is available in C+L, C+S, and L+S band combinations.
Hardened against electronic warfare, this networking system has two HD video encoders enabling both your vehicular thermal camera system and your ISR video receiver system to be redistributed over the network to dismounted users, for instance. GVR5’s on-board video encoders, multicast distribution technology, and IP differentiated services will deliver reliable video wherever you need it.
Dual Push-To-Talk (PTT)
The Dual PUSH-TO-TALK (PTT) enables you to communicate on two talk groups from a single MPU5 radio. With its two independent channel/volume knobs you can select your talk groups and control their volume independently.
Offering robust audio capability with up to 16 available talk groups, PERSISTENT SYSTEMS’ Dual PTT allows you to carry less while communicating more. Using MPU5’s Advanced Radio over IP (RoIP) capability, users with Dual PTT devices can also talk to legacy land mobile radio channels by simply adjusting a dial.
Rugged display controller
With PERSISTENT SYSTEMS’ purpose-built Rugged Display Controller (RDC) complete situational awareness is at your fingertips. With the form factor of a smartphone and a ruggedized case and the addition of physical buttons and joysticks, the RDC device connects to the smart MPU5 networking radio, thereby enabling the warfighter to control unmanned systems, cameras or sensors, conduct TAK operations, HD video streaming, and WAVE RELAY MANET configuration.
Multi-Band Tracking Antenna
Designed for rapid deployment and ease of use, the MULTI-BAND TRACKING ANTENNA delivers the throughput to go the distance. Featuring an Automatic Heading System, PERSISTENT SYSTEMS’ MULTI-BAND TRACKING ANTENNA offers automatic alignment and self-calibration. This means you can operate with up to two MPU5s in different bands for frequency resilience with any aircraft up to 120+ miles, for instance.

Radio Modules
The MPU5, GVR5 and EMBEDDED MODULE are all built on PERSISTENT SYSTEMS’ Interchangeable Frequency Architecture, meaning these products are compatible with all of PERSISTENT’s Interchangeable Frequency Modules. This allows you to select an operational band best suited to your environment and application without replacing your entire radio inventory or redesigning your embedded radio integration.
MMCU
Powered by PERSISTENT SYSTEMS’ WAVE RELAY MANET, the MMCU is a mast Mountable Mobile Communications Unit featuring a built-in GPS module and video encoder. With interchangeable RF modules STEATITE’s weather-resistant MMCU allows you to select an operational band best suited to your environment and application without replacing your entire radio inventory or redesigning your embedded radio integration.
The MMCU is thus designed to provide a resilient reach-back solution from a tactical RHIB, team boat or unmanned surface vessel (USV) to a mother platform. It also serves to provide a central communications relay for any maritime intercom system or, when strategically placed on land, to enhance border security.
CRiB
Incorporating PERSISTENT SYSTEMS’ WAVE RELAY MANET technology, the STEATITE universal Command & Control Terminal (CRiB) is a rugged mobile operations hub that provides a powerful multiscreen workstation platform for rapid deployment in the field. Capable of running Android and Windows software based situational awareness applications concurrently, the CRiB is ideally suited to manage your entire MANET network as it can be used to remotely organise your talk groups, network security aspects, video encoder settings, and network management in the field.
The CRiB thus provides an instant viewing terminal for full motion video, situational awareness and other sensor data. Additional USB ports allow you to connect external keyboards, mice, and Windows-compatible peripherals.

Developed by our partner PERSISTENT SYSTEMS, PERSONAL TRANSPORT 5 (PT5), is a certified 5G modem designed as a revolutionary add-on for the MPU5 mobile ad hoc networking (MANET) radio. By opting for PT5, you and your team can connect to the world via CLOUD RELAY’s Over The Horizon technology while it also wirelessly connects all your Wi-Fi-enabled devices to the MPU5. Both capabilities operate concurrently.
With its integrated sim card tray, PT5 is also fully compatible with the versatile eUICC based sim cards of AEC SKYLINE’s WHISPER secure roaming services.

Its simplified Hub and Spoke architecture simply augments your existing infrastructure.

Using any and every type of network connectivity including Standard Internet, 5G via PT5, SATCOM, 4G/LTE, and Starlink/Starshield, CLOUD RELAY transmits and receives any type of data, meaning video, voice, sensor information, command & control, and more.
